Este envolve uma história engraçada e, ao mesmo tempo, bem especial.

Em um domingo à tarde, quis fazer algo diferente com minha namorada. Em vez de jogarmos ou assistirmos alguma coisa, pensei:

"E se nós desenhássemos algo juntos?"

Então peguei uma referência básica da internet e segui explicando, aos poucos, o mesmo passo a passo que aprendi na primeira aula, seguindo uma lógica similar a que o professor me ensinou.

This one involves a funny and, at the same time, quite special story.

On a Sunday afternoon, I wanted to do something different with my girlfriend. Instead of playing games or watching something, I thought:

"What if we drew something together?"

So I grabbed a basic reference from the internet and started explaining, little by little, the same step-by-step I learned in the first class, following a logic similar to what the teacher taught me.

Eu poderia ter dedicado mais tempo ao cabelo e aos detalhes do meu desenho, mas a ideia era descontrair e compartilhar esse momento com ela.

Também queria mostrar que desenhar não é um dom de certas pessoas. É uma habilidade que qualquer um pode desenvolver com tempo, prática e paciência.

Afinal... se até um cachorro consegue pintar, por que nós não conseguiríamos?!

Enfim, o que realmente me chamou a atenção foi o desenho dela.

I could have spent more time on the hair and details of my drawing, but the idea was to relax and share that moment with her.

I also wanted to show that drawing is not a gift certain people have. It's a skill anyone can develop with time, practice, and patience.

After all... if even a dog can paint, why couldn't we?!

Anyway, what really caught my attention was her drawing.

Eu bati o olho na proporção e no formato do rosto e logo lembrei da primeira vez que fiz um rosto do zero em 21 de Fevereiro.

O rosto tinha aquela influência mais ocidental, fugindo um pouco da estética dos animes. E, curiosamente, também transmitia uma mistura de traços femininos e masculinos...

Tudo isso logo na primeira tentativa dela de desenhar um rosto.

I glanced at the proportion and shape of the face and immediately remembered the first time I drew a face from scratch on February 21.

The face had that more Western influence, straying a bit from the anime aesthetic. And, curiously, it also conveyed a mix of feminine and masculine features...

All of that on her very first attempt at drawing a face.
