Esta foi a minha primeira tentativa em desenhar um personagem original.
Inicialmente pensei em refazer a personagem Nyxa, porém mudando características e fazendo logo de cabeça, sem olhar referência alguma.
This was my first attempt at drawing an original character.
At first I thought about redoing the character Nyxa, but changing features and doing it straight from my head, without looking at any reference.

O resultado foi o desenho de um personagem que você nem sabe dizer qual gênero deveria ser, e com traços mais do ocidente do que do oriente. Traduzindo, não era como imaginava no início e muito menos é de anime.
Mas fiquei contente com a forma como incorporei o olho do experimento na personagem e a forma do seu cabelo, que fiz "seguindo a corrente", sem pensar em nada. As mechas nas pontas veio a partir de um "acidente": o cabelo antes era menor do que deveria, então consertei isso contornando o cabelo e depois preenchendo o espaço de preto. Isso permitiu ilustrar a ideia de mechas coloridas, seguindo a estética punk da personagem.

The result was a drawing of a character whose gender you can't even tell, with features leaning more toward the West than the East. In other words, it wasn't how I imagined at the start, and it's certainly not anime.
But I was happy with the way I incorporated the eye from the experiment into the character and the shape of her hair, which I did "going with the flow", without thinking. The strands at the tips came from an "accident": the hair was shorter than it should have been, so I fixed it by outlining the hair and then filling the space with black. That allowed me to illustrate the idea of colored strands, following the character's punk aesthetic.
